Fox Plans Biblical Event Series The Faithful Featuring Minnie Driver

Fox is set to premiere The Faithful, a biblical limited series based on the Book of Genesis, airing in three two-hour installments from March 22 through Easter Sunday, April 5. The series tells the story through the perspectives of five pivotal women from the Old Testament: Sarah, her servant Hagar, Sarah’s great-niece Rebekah, and Rebekah’s nieces Leah and Rachel. Minnie Driver stars as Sarah, Jeffrey Donovan as Abraham, and Natacha Karam as Hagar, with the first installment focusing on Sarah's struggles with barrenness and the complex family dynamics involving Hagar and Abraham. The show explores themes of faith, jealousy, personal freedom, and love, highlighting the impact these women had on the foundations of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Directed and executive produced by Danny Cannon, the series will be produced in Italy and is distributed worldwide by Fox Entertainment Global. The Faithful aims to bring timeless biblical stories to life for modern audiences during the Easter and Passover season.
