Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film 'Vettaiyan' has received a tremendous response in advance bookings, grossing over ₹16 crore across all languages before its release. The Tamil version alone has sold 481,039 tickets, with significant contributions from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The film's advance booking saw a remarkable 102% increase in a single day, reflecting strong fan enthusiasm, particularly in Chennai and Bengaluru. 'Vettaiyan', directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, marks Amitabh Bachchan's Tamil debut, adding to the film's buzz. Despite stiff competition from other releases, it is expected to perform well internationally, potentially grossing ₹125 crore worldwide on its first day.
