Halle Bailey Granted Restraining Order Against Rapper Ex in Los Angeles

Halle Bailey, star of "The Little Mermaid," has been granted a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. (DDG), due to repeated physical, verbal, emotional, and financial abuse. Bailey alleges multiple incidents of violence since their breakup last year, including an altercation in January where DDG pulled her hair and slammed her face into a car steering wheel, chipping her tooth, while their infant son Halo was present. She also accused him of breaking into her home, sending threatening messages, smashing a surveillance camera, and stealing her phone. Bailey submitted photos of her injuries and footage from a Ring camera to support her claims, expressing fear for both her and her son's safety. The restraining order requires DDG to stay away from Bailey and Halo until a hearing scheduled for June 6. Representatives for DDG have not responded to requests for comment.
