Clann Eireann Defeats Lurgan to Retain Title

Clann Eireann successfully defended their Ulster Senior Club title by defeating Lurgan 2-17 to 2-8 at Healy Park. Niamh Henderson was instrumental in the victory, scoring 1-12 and being named Player of the Match. Clann Eireann started strong, scoring seven points in the first eight minutes, and led 0-12 to 1-2 at halftime despite Aoibhinn Donohue being sin-binned. After the break, Henderson quickly added a goal, and although Lurgan mounted a short comeback, Clann Eireann maintained control, with Donohue and Niamh Murray contributing crucial points. Lurgan, despite the loss, showed promise as first-time finalists, with Emma Tolan scoring two goals. This victory marks Clann Eireann's second consecutive Ulster title, making them one of only four teams to achieve this feat.
