Elbit Systems Secures $127M Army Contract

Elbit Systems has secured a $127 million follow-on contract to supply Iron Fist Active Protection Systems (APS) for upgrading the U.S. Army's Bradley M2A4E1 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, which will be executed over 34 months. The Iron Fist APS is designed to enhance the self-defense capabilities of armored vehicles against a variety of modern threats, including anti-tank rockets and guided missiles. This advanced system offers 360-degree protection while maintaining low volume, weight, and power consumption, making it versatile for different operational contexts. Elbit's contract emphasizes their commitment to providing innovative defense solutions for both the U.S. Armed Forces and NATO allies.
