Ally Sentnor Wins 2024 U.S. Soccer Player Award

Ally Sentnor, a forward for the Utah Royals and standout in U.S. youth soccer, has been named the 2024 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year, marking her as the ninth recipient from the University of North Carolina. At just 20 years old, she has already made her senior debut for the U.S. Women's National Team and captained the U-20 squad to a third-place finish at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, scoring three goals during the tournament. Sentnor received 55.8% of the votes, defeating runner-up Claire Hutton, and expressed her gratitude for the honor and the role models who paved the way before her. She was also the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NWSL Draft and had a strong rookie season, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 21 matches.
