Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Battle Destiny Remastered Launches May 22

Bandai Namco has announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Battle Destiny Remastered will launch on May 22, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and PC, marking the game's first English localization since its original release in Japan in 2012. The remaster features enhanced visuals, a redesigned user interface, and new gameplay mechanics, including a lock-on mode to improve accessibility. Players can engage in fast-paced combat across various missions, choosing from three factions—Earth Alliance, Z.A.F.T, or Archangel—and customizing over 100 Mobile Suits. This updated version retains the original gameplay while introducing quality-of-life improvements such as better tuning options and mission selection. Pre-orders are currently available for the Steam version, with Nintendo Switch pre-orders to follow. The remaster aims to appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers to the franchise.
