Real Madrid Parts Ways with Most Decorated Coach Ancelotti
Real Madrid has officially announced that Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club at the end of the current La Liga season, with his final match being against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu. Ancelotti, who is set to become the Brazil national team manager, departs as the most decorated coach in Real Madrid's history, having won 15 major trophies including three Champions Leagues, three Club World Cups, and two La Liga titles across his two spells. The club and president Florentino Pérez expressed deep gratitude for Ancelotti's contributions both on and off the field, highlighting his embodiment of the club's values. A special tribute will be held during his final home game, which also marks the farewell of veteran midfielder Luka Modric. Xabi Alonso, a former Real Madrid player, is widely expected to replace Ancelotti as head coach, with a presentation anticipated soon. Ancelotti has hinted at possibly returning to the club in a non-coaching role in the future while continuing to reside in Madrid.
