Steelers Sign Donald Parham, Deal Official in March

Donald Parham Jr., a 6-foot-8 tight end, has signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers after spending last season on the Denver Broncos' practice squad without seeing game action. The Broncos had one of the NFL's least productive tight end groups last season, failing to utilize Parham despite his potential as a red-zone threat. Parham, who originally went undrafted in 2019, revived his career with the XFL's Arlington Renegades before joining the Los Angeles Chargers, where he recorded 67 receptions for 764 yards and 11 touchdowns over four seasons. In Pittsburgh, Parham joins a competitive tight end roster, including Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington, and will have to prove himself to secure playing time. The Steelers, who carried four tight ends last season, appear to be adding depth and competition at the position. Parham's signing will become official on March 12 when the new NFL league year begins.
