Passengers Sue Frontier Airlines Over Fiery Landing

Three passengers have filed a lawsuit against Frontier Airlines following a harrowing incident involving Flight 1326 from San Diego to Las Vegas, which allegedly crash-landed and caught fire on October 5. The lawsuit claims that the aircraft 'violently crash landed' without warning, leading to the explosion of tires and the collapse of landing gear, which resulted in a fire and smoke-filled cabin. Passengers, including Eddie Frierson and Alberto Cardoso, assert they were trapped in the sweltering conditions for nearly an hour before evacuation, suffering emotional distress and physical injuries in the process. They are seeking damages exceeding $30,000 due to the airline's alleged negligence in maintenance and safety standards. Frontier Airlines has not commented on the pending litigation, while the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is reportedly investigating the incident. Despite the chaos, all 190 passengers and crew members were safely evacuated according to airline officials.
