SOPHIE's Posthumous Album to Release September 27

SOPHIE's self-titled posthumous album is set to be released on September 27, 2024, coinciding with what would have been her 38th birthday. The album features 16 tracks, including collaborations with notable artists such as Kim Petras, Nina Kraviz, and Jozzy. Four singles have already been released: 'Reason Why' (featuring Kim Petras and BC Kingdom), 'Berlin Nightmare' (featuring Evita Manji), 'One More Time' (featuring Popstar), and 'Exhilarate' (featuring Bibi Bourelly). The project was completed posthumously by her brother and studio manager, Benny Long, after SOPHIE's tragic passing in January 2021. The announcement of the tracklist came shortly after a Google Doodle commemorated her birthday, celebrating her influential contributions to music. SOPHIE's estate expressed that sharing this music is a way to connect with her legacy and honor her artistic vision.
