Franz Ferdinand has released a new single titled 'Night Or Day', accompanied by a striking black-and-white music video directed by Rianne White. The track, which previews their upcoming album 'The Human Fear' set for release on January 10, 2025, follows the previously released single 'Audacious'. Frontman Alex Kapranos expressed that the song captures the spirit of living life fully, regardless of challenges, with the recording taking place in their Scottish studio at AYR Studios. White described the song as embodying the intense emotions experienced in the recording space, emphasizing the collaboration's visual and auditory power. The album will mark the band's first since 2018's 'Always Ascending' and features contributions from new members Audrey Tait and Dino Bardot. Fans can expect a thematic exploration of deep-set human fears throughout the 11 tracks.
