Samsung to Launch New Foldables at July Event

Samsung is set to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at an Unpacked event in New York in early July, advancing the announcement timeline compared to previous years. The new devices are rumored to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and, for the Fold 7, a larger 8-inch display and a possible 200MP main camera, while the Flip 7 may see modest upgrades in size and design. Production constraints have led Samsung to rely less on its Exynos processors for these models. In addition to these flagship devices, Samsung plans to expand its foldable lineup with a more affordable Flip FE (Fan Edition) and the innovative Galaxy G Fold with a triple-fold design. These launches are part of Samsung's strategy to diversify its foldable offerings and retain market leadership. The event is also expected to highlight other products, including a new Galaxy Watch and Samsung's anticipated Android XR headset.
