Delaware Man Arrested in Maryland Murder Case

Delaware State Police have arrested 28-year-old Fernando Medino-Moreta of Lincoln, DE, in connection with the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Franklin Abraham Perez Rodriguez in Salisbury, Maryland, on June 10, 2024. Medino-Moreta was apprehended in Millsboro after an anonymous tip, and police recovered a loaded handgun reported stolen from Pennsylvania during the traffic stop. He faces multiple charges, including first- and second-degree murder, possession of a stolen firearm, and being a fugitive from another state, and is awaiting extradition to Maryland.
