Indian Players Set for Vijay Hazare Knockouts

Prasidh Krishna, Devdutt Padikkal, and Washington Sundar are set to participate in the Vijay Hazare Trophy knockout phase starting January 9, following their involvement in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. KL Rahul, who played all five Tests against Australia, has opted for a break and will not compete in the Hazare knockouts, with his participation in the Ranji Trophy to be decided later. Prasidh and Devdutt are joining Karnataka's squad by January 10 for their quarter-final against Baroda. Abhimanyu Easwaran, granted early departure from Australia, will play for Bengal in their pre-quarter-final against Haryana. Washington Sundar may join Tamil Nadu if they reach the semifinals. The knockout matches will include teams such as Karnataka, Baroda, Bengal, and Haryana competing for the trophy.
