17-Year-Old Critical After Muskegon Shooting

A 17-year-old Muskegon man is in critical condition after being shot inside a vehicle on Saturday evening, following reports of shots fired in the 900 block of Kampenga Avenue. Responding officers conducted life-saving measures before transporting him to Trinity Hospital. The Muskegon Police Department is investigating the incident, which they do not believe to be random, and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The shooting occurred shortly after 6:00 PM near Kingsley Street, not far from Oakwood Cemetery. Further details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
