Karlie Kloss and Phoebe Gates Launch Reproductive Rights Series

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, Karlie Kloss and Phoebe Gates are launching 'Everybody’s Fight,' a five-part series aimed at raising awareness about reproductive rights and abortion access. Produced in collaboration with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, the series includes three documentaries and two short films that highlight the impact of restrictions on reproductive freedom, particularly on marginalized communities such as Indigenous and Black women. The first film, directed by Jessica Mendez Siqueiros, focuses on the lack of reproductive care resources for Indigenous people. Kloss, who has been a long-time advocate for reproductive rights, emphasizes the urgency of these issues in light of restrictive laws in her home state of Missouri. Gates adds that the series aims to empower viewers and encourage civic engagement on abortion rights, framing it as an issue that affects everyone. The series will premiere on October 22, two weeks before the election, to engage younger voters who are primarily active on social media.
