A Longview woman, Nadia Hughes, 34, has been charged with murder after allegedly intentionally striking and killing 40-year-old Teleka Levy-Williams with her vehicle following a verbal dispute. Police responded to the incident on Sunday at the 3100 block of LeTourneau Drive, where Levy-Williams was found critically injured and later died at the hospital. Investigators determined that the incident was not accidental, leading to a murder warrant for Hughes. She surrendered to the Gregg County Jail on August 6, where her bond is set at $150,000. The Longview Police Department is seeking additional information from the public regarding the incident. Those with information can contact the police department or Gregg County Crime Stoppers.
