Great Wolf Lodge South Florida officially opened its doors in Naples with a grand ceremony attended by former NFL star Rob Gronkowski, who highlighted the resort's family-friendly amenities including an indoor water park with 12 slides, a ropes course, and a zipline. The event included a fundraising challenge that raised $60,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, emphasizing the resort's commitment to giving back to the community. Great Wolf Lodge CEO John Murphy noted that the $250 million development is expected to generate a significant economic impact, projected at $5 billion over the next 30 years, benefiting the local economy and creating over 600 jobs. The resort features 500 suites and a variety of dining options, positioning itself as a major attraction for families across South Florida. The soft launch had already begun in September, with the official grand opening held on November 14, drawing considerable local attendance. Gronkowski expressed his enthusiasm, stating he felt like 'a big kid' during the festivities.
