Norwalk police have arrested two additional individuals, Essence Broome (33) and Latrel Stewart (24), in connection with the July 13 shooting of a 15-year-old at the Roodner Court Public Housing Complex. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was treated at Norwalk Hospital. The shooting initially led to the arrest of a 16-year-old, who was charged with first-degree assault and other offenses. Broome faces charges including risk of injury to a child and third-degree trespassing, while Stewart is charged with second-degree breach of peace and attempted assault. Both were apprehended on Friday and are scheduled to appear in court on August 16. Authorities have confirmed that all parties involved in the incident have now been arrested.
