Ten Arrested in Las Vegas Child Exploitation Operation

A coordinated two-day undercover operation in the Las Vegas area led to the arrest of ten individuals accused of various child sexual exploitation offenses. The operation, conducted April 28 and 29, was led by the North Las Vegas Police Department as part of the Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, with assistance from the FBI, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Henderson Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Nevada Attorney General’s Office. Those arrested face charges including luring a child with a computer for sex acts, preparing or distributing child sexual abuse material, and attempted sexual assault of a child under 14. Law enforcement officials stressed the importance of parents monitoring their children's online activities and discussing the risks of interacting with strangers online. Authorities also urged anyone with information or who may have been a victim to contact the LVMPD Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force or Crime Stoppers. The arrests underscore ongoing efforts to combat child exploitation and protect minors in the community.
