Missing Joliet Woman Found Safe After Two Days

Mary Anne Smith, a 69-year-old woman from Joliet, went missing Friday afternoon after leaving her home for a walk. She was last seen on surveillance video at the 8600 block of Foxborough Way, and a Silver Alert was issued to aid in her search. Despite extensive efforts involving drones, K9 units, and a community call-out, Smith was found walking in the same area on Sunday morning. Police thanked the community and media for their role in helping locate her. Smith is described as 5-foot-4, weighing 200 pounds, with glasses, and was last seen wearing a purple coat and jeans.
