Danielle Fishel, known for her role in 'Boy Meets World,' revealed she has been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), an early form of breast cancer. On her podcast 'Pod Meets World,' Fishel, 43, shared that her cancer is at stage 0 and she will undergo surgery and follow-up treatment. She emphasized the importance of regular mammograms, crediting early detection to her adherence to annual screenings. Fishel initially considered keeping her diagnosis private but decided to share her story to encourage others to prioritize their health and screenings. High-grade DCIS has a 98% survival rate when caught early, highlighting the significance of timely medical checkups. Her co-hosts Rider Strong and Will Friedle were among the first she informed about her condition.
