NYSE Parent ICE Integrates FX, Metals Data with Chainlink Blockchain

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has partnered with blockchain oracle platform Chainlink to integrate ICE's high-quality foreign exchange (FX) and precious metals data into Chainlink Data Streams. This collaboration enables the use of ICE’s Consolidated Feed, sourced from over 300 global exchanges, to provide secure, tamper-resistant pricing data to more than 2,000 decentralized applications and financial institutions. The partnership aims to support the growth of tokenized assets and institutional-grade blockchain applications by delivering data that meets the accuracy and latency standards of traditional capital markets. Industry analysts view this move as a strategic step to capitalize on the expanding market for tokenized real-world assets, potentially accelerating mainstream adoption of onchain finance. ICE and Chainlink executives highlighted the partnership as a pivotal shift towards a unified, globally accessible on-chain financial system, underpinning the tokenization of hundreds of trillions in assets.
