Cowboys' Sam Williams Out for Season with Injury

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams has suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee during a special teams drill at training camp, requiring season-ending surgery. The injury occurred during an unpadded practice, and Williams was carted off the field without putting weight on his leg. As a second-round draft pick in 2022, he was poised for a larger role in the Cowboys' defense following the departures of Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler in free agency.
