Eastpointe McDonald’s Employee Fatally Stabbed by Co-Worker After Dispute

A tragic incident occurred at an Eastpointe McDonald's where a manager, Jennifer Harris, a single mother of six and 15-year employee, was fatally stabbed by a co-worker following a dispute. The altercation began earlier in the day, leading to the suspect being sent home but returning shortly after with a knife to attack Harris. A customer, who held a Concealed Pistol License (CPL), fired a warning shot into the air to interrupt the assault and then detained the suspect until police arrived. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Harris succumbed to her injuries. The suspect was arrested at the scene, and the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office will review the case to determine charges. Authorities have requested witnesses to come forward with any additional information about the incident.
