Man Accused of Package Theft in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who was caught on surveillance video stealing packages from an apartment building while dressed as a USPS mail carrier. The incident occurred on October 23, 2024, at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of North 15th Street, where the suspect was seen opening mail packages in the lobby and leaving with stolen items in a backpack. Authorities have indicated that this individual may have committed similar thefts while impersonating a postal worker. They have not confirmed whether the suspect is an actual employee of the postal service or merely posing as one.
