Cool, Cloudy U.S. Weather Expected Memorial Day Weekend

Weather across much of the U.S. is forecast to remain cooler than average with a mix of clouds, light rain, and occasional sunshine through Memorial Day weekend. St. Louis and Omaha will experience persistent light showers and cloudy skies, with temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s before warmer weather arrives by the weekend. The Midwest, including Indianapolis, will see mostly cloudy conditions for major events, but significant rainfall is not expected until later in the week. Coastal and inland California will have foggy mornings and cooler afternoons, with sunshine returning for Memorial Day and warmer temperatures inland. The Northeast will also be cooler with a slight chance of showers, but mostly sunny and pleasant weather is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Overall, while scattered showers and clouds linger, improved and warmer conditions are expected for holiday celebrations and into the following week.
