15 Finalists Named for Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced its 15 modern-era finalists for the Class of 2025, including notable first-time eligibles such as Eli Manning, Luke Kuechly, Terrell Suggs, Adam Vinatieri, and Marshal Yanda. Manning, a two-time Super Bowl MVP, stands out among the finalists, along with veteran finalists like wide receivers Torry Holt and Reggie Wayne, who have been considered multiple times before. The finalists were narrowed down from an initial pool of 167 nominees and will be voted on by the selection committee, which may induct up to five modern-era players, requiring an 80% positive vote for each. The official Class of 2025 will be announced during the 'NFL Honors' show on February 6, 2025, with the enshrinement ceremony scheduled for August in Canton, Ohio. Besides the modern-era players, the Hall will also vote on senior, coach, and contributor finalists separately. This year’s class could include between four and eight new members, reflecting the Hall’s commitment to honoring the game's greatest contributors.
