Coral Springs Housecleaners Arrested for Burglary, Theft from Elderly Clients

Oscar German Munoz and Martha Cecilia Molano, two house cleaners from Coral Springs, have been arrested on charges of burglary and grand theft after allegedly stealing jewelry, cash, and other valuables from elderly and affluent clients in Tamarac and Palm Beach County. The Broward Sheriff's Office began investigating in April following a report from an elderly couple whose valuables went missing, with surveillance footage capturing the suspects entering homes under the guise of cleaning services and exiting shortly thereafter. A search warrant executed on May 5 at their residence uncovered hundreds of stolen items, including rings, necklaces, watches, gems, coins, and cash. Authorities believe the pair sold stolen jewelry at pawn shops and used the proceeds to fund lavish international travel, and they suspect the duo may have targeted dozens of homes. Law enforcement is actively seeking additional victims and urging the public to verify the credibility of housecleaning services by checking reviews, licensing, insurance, and references before hiring.
