Disneyland Plans Tangled Scene Addition to Storybook Land Canal Boats

Disneyland is adding a new miniature scene of Rapunzel's Tower from the animated film Tangled to the Storybook Land Canal Boats attraction in Fantasyland, set to debut during the park's winter reopening after refurbishment. The tower will be located between the Patchwork Quilt and Toad Hall, featuring detailed elements like a shingled turret, windows, lush greenery, and multiple wanted posters of Flynn Rider humorously depicting his nose incorrectly. The scene also includes a dock inspired by the film's lantern scene, complete with twinkling lights on a trellis under the Casey Jr. Circus Train bridge. The addition will be accompanied by music, playing "When Will My Life Begin?" during the day and "I See the Light" at night, enhancing the ambiance. This update is part of Disneyland's efforts to refresh classic attractions while celebrating Disney's animated legacy, joining other miniature settings from beloved films. The attraction originally opened in 1955 and has evolved over the decades with various Disney storybook scenes.
