Driving through the neighborhood, Perez spotted the kids playing and stopped to ask if he could join, much to their delight. The kids, initially not recognizing him, were thrilled once they realized who he was. Perez played a full round, hitting a line drive and laughing as he rounded the bases. Perez will suit up for the Royals in their upcoming game against the Philadelphia Phillies as they continue their push for the playoffs.
