During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Spotlight, he shared the excitement among the cast when they learned of the show's newfound popularity, recalling a humorous text from lead actor Gabriel Macht. Pierce emphasized the need for compensation for the original cast, who felt they benefitted little from the streaming boost, especially in light of the recent actors' strike advocating for better wages. He humorously remarked that he 'better be asked' to make a cameo on the new series, adding that he would genuinely love to participate. The spinoff will feature Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor navigating his new career in Los Angeles.
