Police Search for Armed Suspect in Brockton Mall Double Homicide

Two teenagers, 15-year-old Tymari Albertson and 18-year-old Cevannah Alvarez, were shot and killed in the parking lot of the Westgate Mall in Brockton on Saturday night. Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Davinci Leonard, the alleged shooter, who is considered armed and dangerous after fleeing the scene following an altercation with Albertson. The Plymouth County District Attorney, Tim Cruz, emphasized the need for the community's assistance in locating Leonard, urging anyone with information to contact police. Leonard faces multiple charges, including two counts of murder, and the weapon used in the shooting has not been recovered. The incident has left two families devastated, prompting grief counseling services to be offered at local schools. Mayor Robert F. Sullivan condemned the violence, asserting that justice will be pursued vigorously in Brockton.
