L.A. Wildfires Destroy 16,000+ Structures Including Homes of Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia

Chrissy Metz provided an update on Mandy Moore's recovery six months after the devastating L.A. wildfires that destroyed much of Moore's home in Altadena. Metz confirmed that Moore and her family are "doing well," though the damage was life-altering, especially with children and pets involved. Moore shared on Instagram that while the main part of her house was still standing, it was not livable, and they lost significant personal property, including her husband Taylor Goldsmith's and brother-in-law Griffin Goldsmith's music studio. Moore has expressed frustration with Los Angeles County over bureaucratic obstacles hindering the rebuilding process. Additionally, Moore's "This Is Us" co-star Milo Ventimiglia also lost his Malibu home to the fires earlier in the year. Metz, who is starring in a film about a heroic nurse during the 2018 Camp Fire, remains close with her former castmates and continues to support Moore during this challenging time.
