Tears for Fears Release Live Album, Announce Vegas Shows

Tears for Fears is set to release their first live album, "Songs For a Nervous Planet," on October 25, following the premiere of their concert film, "Tears For Fears Live (A Tipping Point Film)" on October 24 and 26 in over 1,100 theaters worldwide. The concert, recorded in July 2023, features a blend of classic hits like "Everybody Wants To Rule the World" and tracks from their recent album, "The Tipping Point," which garnered critical acclaim upon its 2022 release. Despite initial nerves about being filmed, band members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith delivered one of their best performances, with Smith humorously acknowledging the pressure. Their recent resurgence also includes three upcoming shows in Las Vegas, further solidifying their creative momentum after a long hiatus. The new album will include four previously unreleased songs, enhancing the concert experience. This period marks one of the duo's most creatively fulfilling decades since their rise in the 1980s.
