This season introduces a longer 11-minute main story format, up from 9 minutes, along with new segments and interactive elements that encourage children to engage directly with the characters. NASCAR champion Bubba Wallace guest stars in the premiere episode, which features Elmo, Abby, and Zoe participating in races with puppet chickens, teaching lessons about kindness, compassion, and problem-solving. The show maintains familiar elements like "Cookie’s Foodie Truck" and "Abby’s Magic Beasties," while also adding new animated segments such as "Tales from 123." Executive producer Sal Perez emphasized the goal of modernizing the show to appeal to today's children and addressing important social-emotional themes.
