100 Nights of Hero Teaser Debuts Ahead Venice Premiere

The film adaptation of Isabel Greenberg's graphic novel 'The One Hundred Nights of Hero' is set to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on September 6, 2025, before its theatrical release on December 5, 2025. Directed and written by Julia Jackman, the historical fantasy romance features a cast including Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Charli XCX, Richard E. Grant, and Felicity Jones. The story follows Cherry, whose neglectful husband wagers on her fidelity by sending a seductive visitor, Manfred, to test her, while Cherry and her sharp-witted maid Hero work together to fend him off. The film is described as a visually immersive romantasy blending romance, comedy, and fantasy elements, inspired by the tradition of Middle Eastern folktales such as One Thousand and One Nights. Hero, a member of a secret society of female storytellers, uses storytelling to protect Cherry and outwit Manfred over 100 nights. The North American distribution rights are held by Independent Film Company, which released teaser trailers and first-look images to build anticipation.
