Championship Track Meets Yield Records Nationwide

The SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships began in Lexington, Kentucky, with Ole Miss and Georgia leading the team standings amid potential weather delays. Oberlin's girls set a new state record in the 4x200 relay at Ohio's LC8 finals, while Firelands and Keystone athletes earned individual wins. Kentucky's Class A Region Three meet saw Highlands Latin girls and Collegiate boys claim team titles and qualify for state. In Pennsylvania, Lakeland's girls repeated as District 2 Class 2A champions and Mid Valley's boys won their third straight title.
