India Startups Secure $170 Million, Raise Rs 1,449 Crore Funding This Week

India's startup ecosystem saw significant funding across diverse sectors including electric vehicles, cybersecurity, entertainment, biotech, and fintech between May 17 and May 23. Euler Motors raised $77 million to expand its electric commercial vehicles lineup, including the HiLoad EV and the newly launched StormEV, supported by investors like Hero MotoCorp and British International Investment. CloudSEK secured $19 million to enhance its AI-driven cybersecurity platform used by over 250 enterprises globally. Entertainment startup Mythik, aiming to globalize Eastern cultural storytelling through immersive technology, raised $15 million from investors including Shah Rukh Khan's family office. BioState AI and Chennai-based UAV innovator Zuppa also raised funds to advance drug discovery AI and drone technologies, respectively. Meanwhile, fintech funding remained robust globally with Acrisure leading a $2.1 billion round, indicating strong investor interest across cybersecurity, fintech, and related tech sectors.
