Kenyan police hunt three men for Scots businessman murder
Kenyan authorities are searching for three men linked to the murder of 58-year-old Scottish businessman Campbell Scott, whose body was discovered in a sack in Makongo Forest on February 22, 2025, after he went missing while attending a conference in Nairobi. The suspects, identified as Benard Mbunga Mbusu, Samuel Musembi Kamitu, and Alphonse Munyao Kilewa, have fled and are believed to be in hiding. They were previously arrested for a different crime involving the abduction and blackmail of a church pastor in Nairobi. Scott's body was found bound and partially decomposed, with police stating the case is being treated as a heinous murder. Two individuals have already been arrested in connection with the case and can be held for further investigation. Scott was a senior director at the credit-scoring firm Fico and was last seen on February 16 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Nairobi.
