Michael Jordan's Air Jordans Sold for $8M at Sotheby's Auction

A collection of six Air Jordan sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during his six NBA championship victories in the 1990s has been auctioned by Sotheby's and sold for $8 million to a private American collector. The shoes, known as the 'Dynasty Collection', were worn during the final games of the 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 1998 championships. The iconic sneakers, made of various materials including leather, rubber, cotton, and plastic, were sold by a former Bulls executive who had received them from Jordan. This sale sets a new record for the most expensive pair of sneakers ever sold at auction.
