Walmart Prepares June 25 Nintendo Switch 2 Restock with Early Walmart+ Access

The Nintendo Switch 2 has become the fastest-selling console in Nintendo's history, leading to widespread stock shortages since its launch on June 5, 2025. Walmart has announced a restock of the Switch 2 on June 25, with an early one-hour purchasing window exclusively for Walmart+ members starting at 9:00 p.m. ET, followed by general availability at 10:00 p.m. ET, though supplies are expected to be limited and sell out quickly. Other retailers, including Argos, Amazon, Currys, and Game, have also been replenishing stock in the UK, with Argos scheduling a restock on June 20 featuring same-day click-and-collect and fast delivery options. The Switch 2 features upgraded hardware including a new custom Nvidia chip, 12GB of RAM, a larger 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen with HDR and 120Hz refresh rate, and DLSS upscaling for improved graphics, making it a significant upgrade over the original Switch. Bundles such as the Mario Kart World edition are available at select retailers, though their availability during restocks remains uncertain.
