Man Arrested in 2006 Moreno Valley Brothers' Murders
Richard Anthony Ferris, 50, has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder nearly two decades after the fatal shooting of brothers Louie and Glenn Granado in Moreno Valley, California. The 2006 case went cold due to insufficient evidence, despite Ferris being an early suspect. In April 2025, Riverside County Sheriff’s Cold Case Unit uncovered new information, leading to Ferris’s arrest in Boyle Heights on August 1. He is being held without bail at the Robert Presley Detention Center and faces multiple charges, including special circumstances and gun allegations. Authorities have not disclosed the nature of the new evidence, motive, or relationship between Ferris and the victims, as the investigation remains ongoing. Ferris is scheduled for arraignment later in August 2025.
