Deantae Walker, a 21-year-old from Westland, Michigan, has been arrested in Bowling Green, Kentucky, for his involvement in the theft of eight Corvettes valued at $1.2 million from a General Motors plant. Walker faces multiple charges, including receiving stolen property, engaging in organized crime, and criminal mischief. The theft was discovered after a woman reported seeing a Corvette with a price sticker at an apartment complex. Police confirmed that eight vehicles were missing from the plant and later recovered all stolen cars in the vicinity. Walker is held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing.
