Netflix is set to premiere "Boots," an eight-episode comedic drama on October 9, 2025, inspired by Greg Cope White's memoir "The Pink Marine." The series follows Cameron Cope, a closeted and directionless teen, and his best friend Ray McAffey, son of a decorated Marine, as they navigate the challenging 1990s US Marine Corps boot camp during the era of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy when being openly gay was illegal.
