Father Drowns Rescuing Son in Utah

Andre Leon Debose, 38, drowned at Willard Bay State Park while attempting to save his 17-year-old son, who had jumped into stormy waters to rescue a struggling 19-year-old woman. The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, with Debose and his son both holding onto one life jacket before Debose went under and did not resurface. Emergency crews recovered Debose's body at about 11:15 p.m. This tragic event marks the second drowning at the park within a week.
