FIFA Announces Nominees for Best Awards 2024

FIFA will announce the winners of The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2024 on December 17, 2024, during a live event from Doha, Qatar, coinciding with the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final. This year, fans have a significant role in the voting process, which equally weights their votes alongside those of national team captains, coaches, and media representatives in several categories, including Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Player. For the first time, fans can also vote for The Best FIFA Men’s XI and Women’s XI from a list of 77 nominees, with their selections carrying equal weight to those of an expert panel. Additionally, the FIFA Marta Award for the best goal in women's football and the FIFA Puskás Award for men's football will be awarded based on a combined vote from fans and FIFA Legends. The event will celebrate the best in football while marking the 20-year anniversary of Aspire Academy, attended by dignitaries including FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
