Police Conclude Allotment Search in Maris Ile Murder Probe
The search for Maris Ile, a 54-year-old Latvian man reported missing on November 23, 2024, has concluded at an allotment site in King's Lynn, with police stating that nothing 'immediately significant' was found. This case has been classified as a 'no body' murder investigation, as authorities believe Maris has come to harm. Five individuals were arrested on March 11 on suspicion of murder and are currently on police bail until June 11, 2025. Detective Superintendent Phill Gray of the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team expressed gratitude to the local community for their patience during the investigation. The police have established several lines of inquiry and will continue to pursue leads in the case. Those with information are urged to contact the Major Investigation Team.
