This incident required significant resources from the Topeka Fire Department, including five engine companies and support from other local services. In Yorktown, Virginia, a fire at the Yorktown Motor Lodge caused heavy smoke and fire damage, with one person injured and expected to recover. Fire and rescue teams in York County are still determining the cause of the blaze.
